In Short

The main points in plain words. The full text below is what applies.

  • One cookie onlyIt keeps you signed in, and is set only when you sign in.
  • No trackingNo ads, analytics, pixels or cookies from other companies.
  • Short livedIt lasts seven days at most and is deleted when you sign out.
  • Your choiceBlock it any time. Public pages still work without it.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. The browser sends it back on your next visit, so the site can remember something, such as that you are signed in. Cookies can also be used to follow people across websites for advertising. We do not do that.

2. The Cookie We Use

MigRizo sets one cookie, and only when you sign in.

  • migrizo_session

Purpose: Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and shows your dashboard instead of the sign-in page. It holds a signed code, not your password or profile.

How long it lasts: Seven days, or until you sign out, whichever comes first

This is a strictly necessary cookie. It cannot be read by scripts on the page, it is sent only over secure connections and it never leaves our own site. The dashboards and the admin area each keep their own copy, so signing in to one does not sign you in to the other.

3. What We Do Not Use

  • no advertising or retargeting cookies
  • no analytics or measurement cookies
  • no social media buttons or tracking pixels
  • no cookies from other companies
That is why you do not see a cookie banner. A cookie that is needed to give you the service you asked for, like staying signed in, does not need a separate consent. If we ever add any other kind, we will ask you first.

4. Other Technology on the Site

Icon font. Your browser loads the icons on our pages from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie from us, but Google receives your IP address to deliver the file.

Hosting logs. Like every website, our hosting records basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure. The Privacy Policy explains how long these are kept.

Browser storage. We do not keep anything about you in your browser's local storage.

5. How to Remove or Block Cookies

Signing out deletes the MigRizo cookie straight away. You can also delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site data.

If you block our cookie, you can still read every public page, browse jobs and use the guides. You will not be able to sign in to a dashboard, because the site cannot remember that you are signed in.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we start using a new cookie, we will add it to the table above and update the date at the top of this page. Any cookie that is not strictly necessary will only be set after you agree to it, with an equally easy way to say no.

7. Contact

Questions about cookies or anything else on this page can go through the contact page. For how we handle personal data more broadly, read the Privacy Policy.
